I bought a $10 box of blackish hair dye, thinking I would go darker for winter (I used to always do this, but at the salon). It didn’t work. It made my hair a sort of uniform reddish very dark brown, while normally my hair is a naturally hilighted mix of black + reddish brown. So basically it just made my hair look like the fake version of my natural color. It’s my fault. I went for one of those “natural black” colors rather than “jet black” or one of those that look slightly blue. I figured my hair was dark enough that ANY color labeled “BLACK” would make it thus. WRONG. So after that disappointment, I had to somehow compensate, so I rearranged all the furniture in my kitchen/dining room because it’s something I’ve been thinking of doing for a while/talking about doing with my fiancé. We just haven’t because a. there’s always something else to do that is more important than rearranging furniture and b. I don’t really have enough furniture to complete the new configuration. But whatever, it’s done now. I feel good about it. I don’t, however, feel good about the fact that I have no money whatsoever, and still need a. a sofa b. at least 2 more chairs c. a different desk (i will sell my pottery barn one for probably decent $) d. money.

I will now go try to combine the random mix of ingredients in my kitchen into something edible. Harrumph.
